Kayak Rentals

Kayaks are a blast and a super easy way to get on the water, anyone can do it! Single or Double Sit-Inside Kayaks are great for use in the Pamlico Sound to go for a leisurely cruise, drop a line and try to catch dinner, or just enjoy the sunset from the water. Single and Double Sit-On-Top Kayaks are versatile and great for either the flatwater of the sound, or if you are a little more adventurous, trying your luck at riding the ocean waves!

Single Person Kayaks

Single person kayak prices include: 1 kayak, 1 paddle, 1 lifejacket, and 1 comfort
seatback. Reservations and free delivery/pickup are available for weekly rentals.
All other rental times are first-come/first-serve and carry-out only.

Tandem Kayaks

All tandem kayaks rates include: 1 kayak, 2 paddles, 2 lifejackets, and 2 comfort
seatbacks. Tandem Sit-Inside kayaks also have an optional 3rd child seat available at
no additional cost. The Sit-Inside boats are ideal for flatwater paddling, while the
Sit-On-Top boat can be used on either the ocean or the sound.
Reservations and free delivery/pickup are available for weekly rentals.
All other rental times are first-come/first-serve and carry-out only.

Rental Policies

- All rental rates are based on the time the item(s) are in the renters possession, whether in use or not.
- Sorry, there are no weather related refunds
- Rental equipment is your responsibility while it is in your possession. In the event of damage or loss, you will be charged a fair price for repair or replacement. Please be mindful of the possibility of theft, and do not leave equipment unattended especially at night.
- Damage insurance is available for "Surfboard" rentals only. This insurance is for damage to the surfboard rental equipment only. It does not cover loss, theft, injury, or damage to other equipment or person(s). Insurance rates are per board, 1 insurance purchase does not cover multiple boards. If multiple boards are rented and insurance is desired it must be purchased for each board.
- Reservations are only available for weekly rentals.
- Free delivery/pickup is only available for weekly rentals of $75 or more of rental equipment.
-Delivery only available for Hatteras Island addresses (villages of Rodanthe, Salvo, Waves, Avon, Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras).
